My friend's Patrick and Ellen Galvin just wrote a book about success from the perspective of their boxer, Bella called; Secrets of a Working Dog.  the book is about success and how we can all unleash our potential and become more successful and HAPPIER!

The book made me smile, groan or laugh on every chapter, mostly because I can completely relate as I have my own furry companions by my side as I work on my computer in my home office.  For those of you not lucky enough to have your pets input at work, let me share with you- it is a very humbling thing.  Dogs are focused on very few things in life and we can learn a great deal from them about becoming more grounded, focused and seek out well deserved peace in our lives.   Inspired to walk my talk,  I woke up early this morning and attended my favorite laughter yoga class.  After a few minutes the laughter got my endorphins racing- the result was that I had the most productive day in weeks in my office.  I did the tasks of 3 people because I was focused and happy!  I didn't have to complain to myself or my dogs about how much I did or did not accomplish off my to-do list.  I was simply in a great mood all day.

So once again, I urge you to start your day with laughter - whether it's your favorite funny video on youtube, recordings of America's Funniest Videos, laughing with your kids over breakfast, listening to your local funny radio hosts on your drive to work station, or joining a laughter club or free laughter call first thing in the morning; it's a fantastic way to start your day and get yourself in a prime mood to deal with any adversity the day has to throw at you.  You'll be more creative too with your brain getting the oxygen it needs.  You might even write a shorter run-on sentence like the one I did just now.

In laughter
