This is such an exciting day and time for America and the world. What I love about our incoming administration is that now so many people are excited about the changes we can create ourselves as part of our new President’s plans for our country.

There is a new campaign that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are launching with celebrities talking briefly about what they PLEDGE to do differently in their lives and for the world. It’s exciting and I can see that it will inspire people around the world to give back of themselves, help their neighbors, friends, strangers, the planet- etc etc.?Ashton and Demi pledge is to eliminate slavery in the world in the 21st century.
I feel passionate about giving the gift of therapeutic laughter to the world. Yesterday I had a chance to do some fundraising for the animals and the kids of the town of Seaside, OR and the county my parents live in on the Oregon coast by giving my time to this great group of women that joined me in laughter. They donated generously to our causes, and the afternoon was gratifying and fun for all who participated.??Ask yourself where you can volunteer this month!
Helping others distracts you from the state of the economy and will raise your happiness level by giving back to others less fortunate than you or just plain needing connection!
This afternoon the weather was still amazing on the Oregon coast and I had the good fortune to walk along the beach today in 65 degree weather with 4 amazing dogs in my life. I felt so blessed to have the opportunity in JANUARY to do this, but I kept tripping over the trash that had washed up on the beach. After a few minutes I felt compelled to grab a bag out of my car and pick up trash. 30 min later I had a huge hefty bag of trash in my car with 4 exhausted pups. I pledge to do this every time I go to the beach this year!?That will be about 50 extra bags of trash that won’t pollute the ocean, and kill the animals that call it home.??
